Meet the team
The people behind the wrenches
A small, tight-knit crew that treats you like family
Barry and Nicole have owned Poudre Auto Repair since it started as a one-tech, two-bay shop. Twelve years later, that same family standard runs through everyone on this team — including the shop dog.
Owners
Barry & Nicole
Owner / ASE Master Technician · Owner / Office Manager
Barry and Nicole have owned Poudre Auto Repair since its inception. Over the last 12 years, they've built it from a small one-tech, two-bay shop into its current location at 3060 Lake Canal Court. High school sweethearts, they've been married nearly 30 years, have four children, and were recently blessed with their first grandchild. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, boating, fishing, and spending time with family.
Heavy Duty & Fleet Manager
Wyatt
Barry & Nicole's oldest
Wyatt manages the HD/Diesel and Fleet services side of the business. He enjoys the variety of work he sees on any given day — a wood chipper one morning, a diesel pickup the next, a coach bus after that. There isn't a repair he won't tackle; he enjoys the challenge. Outside the shop, he's into shooting sports, snowmobiles, and jet skis, and spends his free time with family and his shadow, Lucy.

Shop Dog
Lucy
Wyatt's best buddy
Being the "Best Shop Dog Ever" is a tough role, but Lucy feels she's mastered it. She's always happy to greet the parts delivery drivers — especially when they come bearing treats — and might just find a breakfast burrito waiting for her at the start of a shift.
Favorite pastimes: chasing rabbits, keeping snakes away, hunting mice, fishing, and boat rides.
Favorite role: getting her beauty sleep.

From the people who work here
"Small tight-knit work environment and great owners."
- Shaun, Shop Foreman
"Everyone here becomes part of the family. Mr. Barry and Mrs. Nicole go above and beyond to make sure their team actually looks forward to coming to work — offering classes to earn certifications, dinners and Nuggets games, even weekend getaways to the cabins together. If you're looking for a shop that treats you like family, not just an employee, we'd love to hear from you."
- Zae, Service
"I've really appreciated the variety of work, problem solving and continuing to learn. My work environment and co-workers are great!"
- Leo, Automotive Technician
"The people, having knowledgeable and fun co-workers and the owners are awesome!"
- Eddie, Service Manager
"This company is an amazing environment to work in. The people that work here are super knowledgeable and kind."
- Hayden, Automotive Technician
"Working at Poudre Auto Repair has been one of the best experiences of my life, and without a doubt the best workplace environment I've ever been a part of. A lot of shops say their workplace is 'like a family,' but that can feel a little more dysfunctional than advertised — that's not the case here. We're all constantly learning and growing, and no one is ever unwilling to lend a hand or share what they know. That's what I appreciate most about working here."
