A family shop built on trust and transparency
Poudre Auto Repair was founded by Barry and Nicole Habel, who set out to give Fort Collins drivers the kind of honest, dependable mechanical care that's hard to find. Barry's an ASE Master Automotive Technician, and every recommendation comes with a clear explanation — never a guess billed as a repair.
In January 2022, the shop moved into its current facility at 3060 Lake Canal Court, adding alignment equipment and heavy-duty capacity to serve both everyday drivers and commercial fleets across Northern Colorado. When it comes to engines, transmissions, and driveline work, we proudly install Jasper remanufactured products, backed by their 3-year/100,000-mile nationwide warranty.

Barry and Nicole have owned Poudre Auto Repair since it started small, building it into the shop it is today. Their son Wyatt now runs the heavy-duty, diesel, and fleet side of the business, bringing that same family standard to every commercial customer.
